In the fall of 2019, the Isle of Games collective and friends went to Laxahvammur, near Kollafoss, to decompress and make art. Joi and I put together a playable museum, inspired by the Zium museum, with everyones contributions on one general theme: Blandscapes.

Lacking strong features or characteristics and therefore uninteresting.

All the visible features of an area of land, often considered in terms of their aesthetic appeal.

This exhibition of Blandscapes was created at the Isle of Games retreat at Laxahvammur, North Iceland, over a span of a weekend.

Isle of Games is an art game collective founded in 2017. The collective consists of a diverse group of people all with the common goal of making and exhibiting video games and their extended family in Iceland in collaboration with local poets, novelists, musicians, and artists of all kinds.
