Joon is an independent game designer and developer in Reykjavik. He co-founded Glitchnap, where he helped release LAZA KNITEZ!! (2013), Try Harder (2014) and Invert (2017). This also included projects ranging from Danish Film Institute funded Sentree (2016), to the high-profile mobile game accompanying the debut of Cartoon Network's We Bare Bears (2015). After Glitchnap split amicably (2018), Joon's released Don't Trip (2019), an experimental interaction mobile game. In early 2021 he released squirrel surveillance mystery NUTS to a positive critical and commercial reception. Besides making games, he was a lecturer in game design at Reykjavik University for 3 years, is an advisory board member at GDC (IGS), co-founded the Screenshake and Isle of Games events, and organizes local events throughout the year.
